Regarding the Application Apple TVThis is totally new and does not "inherit" traits from others. If we are looking for a similarity, the most similar would be the Books application. We found the library function. Therefore, this application can perform the content storage functions, as well as the reproduction of streaming content, of the future Apple television. In this sense, we do not know what will happen to the application QuickTimePlayer. Apple should start integrating the great player features of macOS, creating a final feature that lets you play content without needing to store it in the Apple TV Library.
