Taking advantage of all the benefits of 5G technology, Apple wants to have antennas made of ceramic material for excellent performance. In other words, they will be the first fully autonomous Macs, perfect for those who work on the go and frequently connect to the internet for any service. In any case, only Digitimes is making these kinds of claims and therefore, the information must be taken with caution.
It seems that the idea may be productive in the future. On the other hand, as we said before, this connectivity has been applied for a long time from the iPhone. For this reason Apple may wait beyond 2020 to know all the advantages and disadvantages of the 5G network and get a new and competitive product. Regarding the material used, a ceramic base, this provides a higher transmission speed as well as higher speed. In contrast, the price of this ceramic component increases its cost up to 6 times.
Possibly this feature we would see in the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, but it is not clear if it will be available in 2020. The next novelty that we will foreseeably see before the end of 2019, is a new 16-inch MacBook Pro, which will make many large screen users think of this Mac as their favorite.
