A Kickstarter project adapts a USB input to the foot of your iMac

Surely many of you who are or have been users of an iMac will have wished that usb connections and all the others in general, but especially this one, were more accessible from the front of the equipment without having to rummage around the back to insert a simple pendrive.

That is why the guys at iMacompanion have brought their project to reality through the Kickstarter platform, a usb 'extension cord' made of anodized aluminum that is easily installed on the foot of your iMac, Cinenma Display, or Thunderbolt Display to have total accessibility when connecting peripherals via USB.

The secret lies in the cable that connects with the USB to the rear input is of an extra-flat type so that there is no type of swing under the iMac when passing it. The negative part is that it simply stays in the version USB 2.0, somewhat outdated for the times.

Actually a few months ago another accessory very similar to this one that we already discussed in this postFor now they need ten thousand dollars to successfully conclude the collection that will make the mass production of this accessory possible.

Anyway you can contribute if you think you can be successful with a contribution from three dollars where a mention will be made on the web as a collaborator of the project up to 99 dollars or more that will give you the right to acquire a prototype that they will send before putting the accessory for sale.

Be that as it may, although it is aesthetic according to the eyes with which it is looked at, I still prefer to connect a USB 3.0 hub which will admit more inputs and is surely cheaper without breaking the aesthetics of the iMac too much. Would you get one of these? I have it clear ...
