A man is arrested at the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York carrying a samurai sword

Arrest man-apple store-katana-0

Just yesterday in the iconic Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York, a homeless person happened that we could qualify as an anecdote at the end, since no one was injured. I say this because the news published by channel 7 in NY, told us how a character entered the store carrying a samurai sword and shouting as he descended the glass stairs.

At that time the customers were set aside and the employees they made a kind of wall so that no one came near until the police arrived.

In the end, as I said before, it all ended in an anecdote and the man was arrested outside the store by two agents when the man returned to kneel down and shout brandishing the sword implying that he could self-inflict some kind of harm to himself. You can access the video of the arrest through the following link.

Once arrested, he was transferred directly to the New York Hospital to carry out a medical check-up and transfer him to preventive detention. Not yet confirmed if any passerby or customer was injured but it seems that everyone got away unscathed. The reasons that led this person to carry out this act are not known either, whether it was for any specific reason against someone who was in the store or an employee or on the contrary simply to attract attention.

Be that as it may, it seems that it has managed to attract attention although we hope that the next news about the Apple Store are more focused on companies' products or at least not so "dangerous."
