How to bulk select photos on iOS

The iPhone is a great camera. We carry it in our pocket every day and this makes it easy for us to take pictures of everything. In addition, these photos have a high quality so we often want to share them with our family and friends, but what happens when we want to select a lot of photos?

Select multiple photos at once

Before, when we wanted to share a batch of photographs or delete a bunch, we had to press "Select" at the top left of the screen of our iPhone or iPad and touch each photo that we wanted to share or delete one by one. This was quite a hassle, especially if you were interested in a good handful of photos.

But there is a much easier way to select multiple photos:

  1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.
  2. Press "Select" at the top left of the screen.
  3. Place your finger on the first of the photos you want to select and drag your finger to the last one.

Once this is done, all the images are selected and now you only have to choose the appropriate action: share, delete or add to one of your albums.

And in case you still have any doubts, the guys at MacRumors have made a great video that explains it much better than me. Here you have it:
