The HomePod may become one of the essential devices at Apple if the predictions of Bloomberg analysts come true. Your regular analyst, Mark Gurman says the future happens as Apple releases a future high-end HomePod speaker that could include an iPad connected via a robotic arm that tracks and follows users around a room.

According to the new information provided by Mark Gurman, the Bloomberg analyst, that is, one of the most renowned specialized magazines, it is specified that Apple is considering the possibility of add an iPad to the new HomePod. In this sentence we find two ideas:

  1. Un new model of HomePod. It is not the first time that we have already heard this news and it is not at all crazy considering that the company recently discontinued the original HomePod although you can still buy them. Of course, be careful because you can receive a model from three years ago.
  2. The new device that could be launched on the market would have a iPad attached by robotic arm With which to track and follow users through the rooms where they are.

We knew about the possibility of launching a new touch screen model, but we didn't know anything about these spectacular new features. We are talking about a HomePod that would combine an ‌iPad‌ with a speaker ‌ and would also include a camera for video chat. Apple is exploring the possibility of connecting that ‌iPad‌ to the speaker with a robotic arm that can move to follow a user around a room, similar to Amazon's latest Echo Show device. Facial recognition is used to keep users in frame during conference calls or when asked for attention.

Bloomberg notes that development of this high-end loudspeaker is in the early stages. In fact they refer to it as a "concept", something similar to a patent. Something that could never see the light.
