It seems like good news is always accompanied by bad news and in this case Apple has "one of lime and one of sand" for our French neighbors. The opening of a new, modern and large Apple Store on the Champs Elysees for next November, contrasts with the closing of another flagship store in the country, the one that is inside the Carrousel Du Louvre shopping center.
In any case it is important to say that none of the employees who would be affected by the closure of the Carrousel Du Louvre store, will remain on the street after the closure, all of them will be relocated to the Champs Elysees store in Paris of which Apple already spoke in a keynote last year as you can see in the image above.
It seems that there is no possible reform for the store of the Carrousel Du Louvre shopping center
Normalemte Apple makes investments in its stores to adapt them to the current needs of users and themselves, but in this case it seems that there are no interesting options for the store that opened last 2009, the oldest in the country. Apple decides to shelve and move to another new store all the staff who want to continue working with them, in addition the new store is located in a key part of the country and will be much brighter, larger and above all updated to the needs of users and the company itself.
The new store will open next November as confirmed by a local French media, but there is no specific date for it. Apple has been interested in opening this store for a couple of years and now they would have it almost finished. We will see when they decide to open this new significant store in Paris.
