A Tip for Mac, Start / End

keyboard_

If we come from the Windows operating system, it is normal that we do not find many of the functions or keys that we used in our old PC that they were physically integrated into the keyboard and that in the case of the Mac they are not physically "there", but we do have access to them by means of a combination of keys.

Do not think that it does not exist on Mac, it is simply possible that you do not know the (Tip) key combination to be able to do the same as on our PC, but I already told you that it can be done and sometimes even easier, although this time , it's easier on windows.

In this case, to carry out the action of going up or down on a web page, with our old PC we did it by pressing the Start / End physical key above the cursors. This option on our Mac can also be done, but we need the combination of two keys.

It is not that it is complicated, but it is understandable that if you do not know, you think that the OS X system loses options compared to Windows when we go from one platform to the other. But most of the time this all comes to nothing when we find these little "tricks" (Tips) that make it easier for us.

This key combination is performed as follows, there are two keys to press, cmd + up arrow (to do the Start function) and cmd + down arrow (to do the End function).

This option we will not deny that it is a lot easier to do in Windows, since we only have to press a key, but on the other hand the advantage in the Mac keyboard is its smaller size (always speaking of the BT keyboard).

We hope you take advantage of these "keyboard combinations" and that sometimes they can solve the ballot or, as in this case, they allow us to perform a function that we used in Windows and in OS X we were not able to find on the keyboard.
