When it seemed that Apple was only interested in the renovation of the Apple Stores that had older, we found in a week the opening of two Apple Stores, with a unique appearance. This week we knew the definitive design of the Apple Store in Milan and today we know the Apple Store in Macau, with unusual elements.
A translucent stone facade, as well as a bamboo grove, grace the next Apple store in Macau. We cannot say that it does not use oriental elements according to the tastes of its main users. The store will open its doors on June 29.
The new Apple store, is located in Cotai Central, surrounded by luxury hotels and casinos. The facilities will have two floors. The most spectacular element will be the translucent stone facades. This will not be an artificial item with a rustic look. For this, a stone with sufficient hardness has been worked, but that is only a few millimeters thick. Of course, the walls are lined with glass plates made in Switzerland. This is intended to allow light to penetrate the interior, and prevent heat from entering the interior. It has been designed by Foster + Partners.
The second element is the Bamboo forest that we find at the entrance of the building. This woodland, moves up to the roof, on the two floors of the enclosure. The structure of the building is prepared for new Apple programs, including Today At Apple events, in which anyone can participate.
In the upper part, we have a skylight made up of 9 elements, which allows the light to penetrate to the Bamboo grove. In the central part we will find a large screen with 8K resolution.
Finally, the building is located in the part with the best views of the entire enclosure. So it's always good to relax while looking at the different Apple products or taking part in a training workshop. The presentation of the Macau store will be joined throughout the month by the Atlantic City, New Jersey store on June 30.
