We are not clear why Apple does not officially announce the sales of its new watch released this year. Many users say that few have been sold, others say that many have been sold and Apple does not leave us in doubt, also each analyst firm launches its own conclusions on the figures achieved by the Apple Watch and this still misleads us a little more about how many watches have they actually sold.
Actually Apple does not usually hide or cover sales figures and although it is true something similar happened to us with the iPhone 5c that in those days Apple generalized total sales and not those of certain models, iPhone 5 and 5c, now something similar happens to us with the new watches.
According to Canalys, Apple has sold 7 million Apple Watch in total since it was officially launched on the market. Of these 7 million, some 300.000 units would correspond to the last analyzed quarter of this year 2015 and it remains to be seen what remains of the year that would be added to the next quarter. This is important since it encompasses the dates where Apple and the one that is not Apple sells a lot, Christmas.
To this day we are still pending what Apple tells us officially but in the words of the company's CEO, Tim Cook, Apple Watch sales are really good and even some analysts openly assure that the staging of the Apple watch raised the sales of this type of wereables of all brands. It will be necessary to see if Apple reveals or not the number of watches sold, but what is clear is that Apple's sales in general are really extraordinary as we saw in the event of the financial results of the fourth quarter.
