At the end of this past month it was updated the Adobe Flash Player plugin for Mac, and in just three weeks a new version will arrive with some corrections and improvements implemented in version 18.0.0.203. As always, the improvements focus on 3D content and game performance, improved video performance and compatibility, and new APIs to improve the browsing experience on the latest devices.
One of the changes that we have not mentioned or do not remember making is the change the plugin installation interface. The steps next to the animations have changed a lot from a couple of versions ago, but in reality the installation itself is not something that should worry us, and if the possible security holes that they solve in almost every version of Flash Player.
These updates usually appear automatically on our Mac through a pop-up window that warns of the new version available, but you can always access from System preferences and click on the flash icon, then go to the top tab Advanced, In it you will see the updates section in which the version that you have installed on your machine appears. It can also be accessed directly from the website of Adobe Flash Player and see if we have the latest version available installed. For security and stability reasons system, it is recommended to keep Adobe Flash Player updated to its latest available version and thus avoid problems in our machine.
