Adobe Flash Player for Mac is updated to reach version 18.0.0.232. This new version adds the typical improvements in security and stability of the tool. The enhancements also focus on 3D game and content performance, add improvements to video performance and compatibility, and we also have new APIs to improve the user browsing experience on the latest devices.
This is one more version of the popular plugin that has now been in place since last July, specifically since last July 21 without receiving a new version. The previous version of Flash Player is 18.0.0.209, it solved a serious security problem, but this new version does not explain anything about any possible vulnerability. Despite this, it is recommended that all users access the new version and update the plugin as soon as possible, since as we all know, keeping the plugin updated protects us from any possible third-party attack.
These updates usually appear automatically on our Mac through a pop-up window that warns of the new version available, but you can always access from System preferences and click on the flash icon, then go to the top tab Advanced, In it you will see the updates section in which the version that you have installed on your machine appears.
