ALERT! New scam attempt using iTunes as an excuse

Good Morning. I am writing this post quickly to warn all users of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), that there is circulating a new, and false, email that comes to us, supposedly, from iTunes. It is false, it is a new threat of Phishing that could leave us the card to zero so, for your sake, keep reading.

A fake email from iTunes wants our data

A few minutes ago I checked my email and I found that this morning I had received the email that I show you below:

iTunes Apple phishing scam

Although apparently it may seem like an email sent by iTunes or Appleit's completely false. When we click on "Click here" it will take us to a fake page that probably looks a lot like the official page of the Cupertino company, but it is not. I haven't checked it and, obviously, I'm not going to do it either, and neither should you. By accessing said page and providing our access data from our Apple ID and, most likely, it also confirms the data of the credit / debit card that we have registered, we will be exposing all our information we do not know to whom but the sure thing is that we will have given access to our account and, with that data, you can empty our cards and bring us a good displeasure.

The email tells us that our iTunes account has been the subject of fraud (how ironic!) And that when detected, it has been suspended for our security until we confirm our identity. If you access your account, NO through this email, you will verify that it is totally false, your account works perfectly.

The best defense against these continuous scam attempts is to immediately delete the message remembering that Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), it will never ask for your personal data for anything, and neither will your bank or any other entity.

Colleagues from the network, spread this news through Twitter, Facebook and all the social networks you use, it is very important so that these scammers cannot take advantage of anyone.
