To try to further promote this new feature that was announced at the last WWDC, almost a year ago, the company has created a dedicated website exclusively to inform about the advantages and benefits that it offers us. In addition, it also shows us a list where we can find all the speakers that today are compatible with the AirPlay 2.
AirPlay 2 lets you play music or podcasts from speakers throughout the house, and everything stays in perfect sync. If you have more than one HomePod, you can even play different songs in different rooms.
Apple notes that users will be able to listen to their music on their compatible speakers and answer a phone call without interrupting the music. Also, friends can add music to the Below that feature. it is a good function for parties and other gatherings.
