Amazon and Apple have made peace. During 2017, it was announced that Amazon would re-sell the Apple TV on its item sales website. The negotiations did not stop there, because for a few dates we can see the content of Prime Video on 3rd and 4th generation Apple TVs, thanks to the recently released Amazon app on Apple TV. Instead, one of the deals has not gone as expected. We are talking about the amount of Apple TV 4k that Amazon had in stock for sale. If you read correctly, it had, well they are over.
Not in all countries has the Apple TV 4 been for salek on the Amazon page. For example, it does not appear on the Spanish page. But If you go to the international Amazon website, a message warns us that the product is not available. The message indicates "temporarily out of stock".
To understand it, we must see the matter in perspective. This multimedia device receives much more content in the US than in other parts of the world. The newly released section Live Sports, is not yet available in most countries.
On the other hand, a high percentage of Amazon users in the US have contracted Prime Video. Therefore, these two new services have led to increased sales and greater demand for Amazon's video service. In fact, it's been days since Apple announced that it had no availability of the 64 Gb model for another 4 to 5 weeks.
With these actions, Apple and Amazon have seen the synergies that their agreement can bring and the millions of dollars they have lost since October 2015, when they stopped understanding each other when they stopped selling Apple TV. Apple, for its part, indicated that there was no place for Amazon's video service. All of this was resolved when the agreement was announced at the last developer convention last June.
