Today it is very easy to do concepts how you would like the next device you want to design to be. If you know how to handle a 3D design application and you have a minimally powerful computer, you can now unleash your imagination.
I just stumbled upon an Apple Watch concept that could perfectly be the next Apple Watch Series 6. Same case and same strap as the current one, but with a display without bezels that attracts a lot of attention. This is not a crazy concept and in a few months we will see if this dream comes true.
We assume that this fall, with or without Keynote, Apple will present its next range of iPhone 12 and a new series of the Apple Watch, as usual. And to warm up our engines, we have found on the YouTube channel ConceptsiPhone a very compelling take on what a new Apple Watch could look like.
Although it is not very different from the Apple Watch we currently have (and we hope it really is), it does have an impressive edge to edge display Which brings it more in line with the new iPhones and iPads. We all hope that the Apple Watch Series 6 will be introduced in September, along with Watch 7. However, Apple's supply chain is still feeling the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. There are rumors that the manufacturing of iPhone 12 has been affected, which means that other Apple devices could also be delayed. Moreover, the number of Apple Watches is significantly less than the number of iPhones that Apple has to make.
We may have Keynote in September, with the new devices going on sale in October. Due to the lockdown this spring, Apple has released very important commercial devices such as the iPhone SE without prior notice.
Let's hope that by September or October the levels of contagion by Covid-19 have decreased and Apple decides to perform its traditional Keynote in the Steve Jobs Theater from Cupertino.
