If we already thought that Apple would not deign to launch a new version of your dock after the last "official" model of the brand exclusively for the iPhone 5 / 5s, now it surprises us with a renewed model valid for both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus, other devices such as the iPad would not be compatible because it would force the dock to have more support surface.
The most obvious feature that differentiates it from the previous ones is that it does not include the notch that fits exactly with the iPhone model. Apart from this we will not find many new features in the dock since it includes the typical 3,5mm jack audio connector of to link it with any speaker and a lightning input so that we connect the cable to the Mac.
It is also important to note that thanks to the small protrusion that protrudes from the base just below the lightning connector, it allows us to connect our iPhone with a case in addition to be able to use it in hands-free mode if they call us.
Basically the main utility is to be able to leave our device without it being pulled by the desktop connected to the cable in the middle and that everything is more collected and in some way, organized. Of course it is compatible for both OS X and Windows environments and in this way carry out backup copies of the device through iTunes or play music.
If you are interested in acquiring this accessory you can already do so through the Apple Store at a recommended price of 45 Euros, something that seems high for what it offers since the previous one was at a more "adjusted" 29 Euros.
