Apple adds new cities to Maps Flyover view

maps-mac

The guys from Cupertino keep updating the Maps application with improvements and new Flyover views, that is, the 3D view of the cities in the application itself. This time we do not have new cities in Spain but they do add six new places: Augsburg, Brunswick and Hannover in Germany, Niigata in Japan and Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead in the UK.

The cities that have this option in Spain are still the same as we have since the beginning of the month, but it is true that little by little Apple is covering a large part of our territory with this flyover option in the application Maps both OS X and iOS, and this is something to keep in mind.

The cities that we have available in Spain today are:

  • Algeciras
  • Alicante
  • Almería
  • Badajoz
  • Barcelona
  • Caceres
  • Cadiz
  • Cordova
  • Huelva
  • La Coruna
  • León
  • Lugo
  • Madrid
  • Murcia
  • Pamplona
  • Salamanca
  • San Sebastián
  • Sevilla
  • Valencia

Logically, in the peripheries of these large cities we have several municipalities with this coverage of Flyover Maps. Hopefully they will continue to increase over time. For those of you who are not that familiar with the Flyover feature in the Appple Maps app, say that it is an added feature so that users can access photo-realistic 3D mode with polygonal models of buildings, emblematic places and different locations, to which options are added to zoom in, have a panoramic view and the possibility of rotating on the same axis to get a closer view of these monuments and places of interest in the city. city in question.

If you want to see each and every one of the cities that we have available with this Flyover view, you just have to access the apple website and consult their different locations that we have available.
