For some time now and after the arrival of iOS 9, Apple has decided to step on the gas and add new functions to its map service. One of the main novelties was the possibility of checking the public transport routes, to see which metro or train we have to take to reach our destination. At the moment, Apple had limited this information to cities small, but just add this information to one of the largest cities in the United States, Los Angeles, the second largest in the country.

Apple just added information about public transportation to the city of Los Angeles, one more reason for Apple users, return to using the natively integrated map application, with the benefits that this entails. From this moment, if you want to go anywhere in Los Angeles, you will only have to consult the Apple Maps application to know which is the best route to get there, as well as being able to know what is the time at which the different public transport passes and the schedules of the different stops that it makes on the route.

Los Angeles becomes the third city that offers information on the different public transport routes, including China as a unique location, although there are more than 300 cities that offer information on public transport. Currently the cities that allow organizing routes with public transport with: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, London, Mexico, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Sydney, Toronto, and Washington.

The public transport routes was one of the novelties of Apple with the arrival of iOS 9, but it seems that it is taking longer than normal to add new cities. Let's see if with the year that we are about to start, Apple speeds up the addition of more cities with information on public transport.
