In this case I want to show you a detail that I had not realized until today and that is that the power adapter that ships with 12-inch MacBooks.
Analyzing both the iPad adapter and that of my 12-inch MacBook I have noticed that the finish of this second adapter has evolved and is that now the Apple ones have stopped more in finishing them and have eliminated the joints of union of one cover with the other of the adapter.
In this way, in my view, they achieve two very important things, the first is that the device looks much better, apparently made in a single piece and that is that a closed view has polished the joint area. In this way the adapter is totally watertight. The other thing they achieve is that the device cannot be manipulated in any way, making it is not the source of a possible breakdown of a computer such as the MacBook due to internal manipulation of the adapter.
In the attached images you can see the two adapters that I have been talking about. In the iPad adapter, which has a little more time than the MacBook, more dirt accumulates in the joints we are talking about and If you love them to look like new, you have to constantly clean those areas.
In short, one more proof that when Apple launches a product it analyzes all its parts so that it can be better than what already exists. It is worth remembering that not long ago Apple itself released a statement in which it reported the danger that existed when using non-original adapters in its computers, after certain equipment explosions occurred in some countries.
