Game events run in real time, which means that even when you're not playing, things are still happening within the game.

In the shadow of the Wall, start your clock. Eight thousand years before John Snow seized Castle Black, the Night's Watch was formed to secure the Wall and defend the Westeros border against the dangers of the North, and all that lies beyond. In these wild jungles, the brothers of the Night's Watch and their allies faced dangers that would threaten the kingdom. But the Wall is a blade that cuts both ways.
Players will be tasked with sending expeditions of soldiers to the North, beyond the Black Castle. Those expeditions will continue to explore wherever they are sent, even if you stop actively playing.
The crows that are sent will also fly in real time, and you will will notify of your reports when they arrive. Players can choose to take action when such notifications arrive, or simply wait until they have a moment to re-enter the game.
"Game of Thrones: A Tale of Crows" is now available at Apple Arcade, for Mac, iPad and iPhone. The game is free, there are no ads, and there are no in-app purchases, as is customary in all Apple Arcade games.
