We already know that for Apple, control over everything it does is essential so that no detail can escape it and that is precisely what it is doing with its world developer conference, WWDC 2015 was not going to be less and is also within this overprotection of Apple.

For this very reason yesterday threatened to undertake legal action against AltConf if this company goes ahead with plans to broadcast live Apple's annual keynote and subsequent talks that will be given to attendees from a location other than the official one.

To put ourselves in the situation, the AltConf is a kind of developer conference that takes place in parallel to Apple's official one and that is traditionally held in San Francisco during the same week as WWDC, usually and as it has been going on. In other editions, Apple's keynote is usually broadcast live and subsequent sessions, but this year Apple is taking a tight stance already shown a "less friendly" face to this type of activity.

The cancellation was announced via the AltConf website on Thursday with the following message:

Due to a letter received from Apple's legal representatives, AltConf will not be able to display any WWDC content. Instead, the sessions to be displayed will be from Google I / O, Microsoft Build, NSConference, 360 | iDev and UIKonf. All chat sessions in the AltConf remain intact and will proceed as scheduled.

Apple is offering its own streaming to Apple TV owners and iOS device users via the Web, while developers can access real test sessions live by visiting Apple's developer website.
