Apple Card could generate about 1.000 billion dollars annually

Apple Card

On March 25, Apple officially presented four new services in which it wants to concentrate part of its future efforts in order to start reducing the company's iPhone-dependency, especially now that sales have started to decline compared to previous years: Apple Card, Apple Arcade, Apple News + y Apple TV +.

Apple News + is now available in the United States and Canada. Both Apple Arcade and Apple TV + will do so in the fall. In theory, Apple Card will hit the American market this summer, in fact, in the latest beta of iOS 12.4, there are already the first signs of its next launch. According to various analysts, Apple Card can generate about 1.000 billion revenue for Apple annually.

Apple Card

Apple Card is a credit card with a very simple operation that we can manage at all times from our iPhone. In addition, a series of advantages such as very competitive interest rates, no additional charges or maintenance cost, access to movements ordered by name of establishments not by terminal codes ... and much more that can make this proposal a very attractive offer for iPhone users.

According to Alliance Berntein, Apple Card will not be a fixed source of income within Apple services compared to other services such as Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News + and others. However, it is a very profitable proposal for the company, a proposal with which Apple risks practically nothing.

Despite not charging commissions, Apple will earn money with every transaction. As with other credit and debit cards currently available on the market, Apple will take a percentage of that income, a percentage that can range between 5 and 10%. To carry out this project, Apple trusted Goldman Sachs, one of the largest banks in the United States.

Alliance estimates that within 3-5 years, Apple could earn $ 1.000 billion annually through this card without doing practically anything.
