Apple closes exclusive Apple Watch store at Galeries Lafayette in Paris

The days before the Apple Watch was unveiled were preceded by a large number of rumors claiming that Apple wanted to put its head fully into the world of fashionIn fact, many were the journalists from this sector who attended the presentation of the Apple Watch, a model that would be available in 18-karat gold, hence the idea of Apple to invite the world of fashion to the event, so that They will begin to advertise their device in this sector that moves many millions of dollars, especially in the United States.

But it was not Apple's only move in this regard, as the Cupertino-based company also opened several exclusive stores to sell only the Apple Watch in its different variants, but mainly to sell the gold model, a model that started at a price of $ 10.000. This model passed without pain or glory through the wrists of a few celebrities, which forced the company to withdraw it from the market. Keep in mind that it was a very risky bet by Apple, being an electronic device that quickly becomes out of date, although in this case and after two years in the market it has not been like that.

A few months ago we informed you of the imminent closure of exclusive stores that Apple had temporarily opened in London, Paris and Tokyo. The first of them, the one in London, under the blind a couple of weeks ago, while the one in Paris, located in the Galeries Lafayette, has just done it, transferring all its staff to other Apple Stores in the Parisian capital, where Apple plans to open a new Apple Store. At the moment the only one that is still open and without plans to close soon is Tokyo, although it cannot be said that sooner or later it will not close its doors as well.
