Betting on your own creations in a video on demand service continues to be one of the most popular topics today. Some companies are associated, others buy from the smallest to increase the possibility of what is to come in the audiovisual sector. Y Apple continues to bet on creating content under its own label and that users can only see through them. Something that other companies like Netflix or Amazon already do.
Now another movement has become known as far as own productions are concerned and it will do so from the hand of the creators of the popular Sesame Street, Sesame Street or Sesame Street. That is to say, It is an agreement with the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop.
As told from the publication Variety, Apple has managed to get the organization Sesame Workshop to create new content that until now is not known exactly and that they will bear the Apple seal. Among this new children's offer, Sesame Street or Sesame Street are off the Apple grill: the show is broadcast on both HBO and PSB, where it has agreements.
There will not be a single series, as they say, but the agreement is about various animation productions and live action, plus a possible series based on puppets, one of the most popular productions of Sesame Workshop for children. Therefore, little by little we are getting to know Cupertino's intentions as far as programming is concerned.
At the moment we have a reboot from Steven Spielberg's "Amazing Stories" series, varied programming hosted by Oprah Winfrey; a possible animated film with a popular Irish production company; as well as a morning show hosted by Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.
