Currently Apple has just under 500 stores of its own spread all over the world. A large number of them can be found in Asia. Currently China has 38 Apple Stores while Hong Kong has 5. But as reported by Reuters, Apple's expansion plans in Asia are not finalizedas the Cupertino-based company intends to open the first Apple Store in Taiwan. Apple has confirmed the news after posting on its website the list of jobs that it is currently looking for for its first own store in Taiwan.

What the Cupertino-based company hasn't confirmed is when you plan to open the store, nor what will be the location of the store but Taipei, the capitalIt has all the ballots to be the location of this first Apple Store in the country. Taiwan is the last Chinese bastion where Apple will open its own store. Expansion on the Asian mainland began in China, followed by Hong Kong and now Taiwan.

Many of Apple's vendors are located in Taiwan as Foxconn, Largan and TSMC although most of Foxconn's manufacturing is done in mainland China due to lower costs and increased labor. Until now, all the inhabitants of Taiwan have had to buy online or look for authorized resellers in the country, but that will end in the coming months when the first Apple Store in the country opens.

But before this inauguration, Apple will open the first Apple Store in the Brooklyn neighborhood on July 30, New York, a neighborhood that until now had no store of its own, forcing users living in this neighborhood to move to Manhattan or Queens, where Apple has several Apple Stores.
