Apple continues with the idea that the MacBook has inductive charging

Apple continues with the idea of launching a MacBook with inductive charger

One of the functionalities that it was commented that the iPhone 11 could have was the bidirectional inductive charger. That is, you could charge other devices at your fingertips just by joining them to the iPhone. In this way We could charge the Apple Watch if necessary. However, this feature has so far only been seen in the competition. However, Apple does not abandon the idea and thinks that the MacBook is an ideal device for this type of inductive load.

Apple patents continue to bet on inductive charging between devices. Now it's the turn of the MacBook

Apple engineers and the company's software developers think that the future is to be able to charge devices with each other One of the candidates that has inductive charging is the MacBook and it could be a great idea, especially since that way we would not have to use a computer port in this case.

As we see in the illustration, the MacBook could have an area where could inductively charge to other compatible devices. Both the Apple Watch and the iPhone could benefit from this technology right now and we would not have to be looking for cables for both devices.

This idea already emerged in 2015, but last december 2019, it has been known that the patent has been updated, for which it is clear that they continue with the idea and that in the future we could see some Apple devices that lacked cables. A great idea, especially when now that they want to standardize the chargers and Apple is not very much for the work. The future has to tend to lack cables and have more powerful batteries.

Although it is a fantastic idea, unfortunately it is a patent It does not mean that I will see the light. Many patents are filed by the American company, but this for me is one of the most important. Hopefully one day we will see a world without wires.
