Apple could implement real-time traffic data in Maps

Something that I find interesting about the many rumors that are being seen these days prior to the start of WWDC this year, is the possibility that Apple will implement little by little and by cities, the real-time traffic data for your Maps application. This rumor in principle can make some sense if we take into account the number of improvements implemented in the application for OS X and iOS, so we do not rule it out as possible news for the conference on the 8th.

The same rumor says that this new option would initially reach the cities of New York and San Francisco, Toronto, London, Paris and Berlin, to later expand to other major cities. What we are clear about is that it is an interesting service that, if it works well, will get more than one out of traffic jams.

Yes, it is true that the news is focused on some cities and will not reach all the places that we want, but this usually always happens with Apple and similar software functions. What if we wait is that works fine once launched and do not cause problems for users.

We have been seeing all kinds of advances for Maps for a while, from the 20 new locations that integrate the Flyover or the ability to add and correct data from small businesses in Spain from the application itself, they make us see that Apple is taking Map enhancements seriously and we like that. It is also true that it lacks details to polish, but honestly and from our point of view this application is growing by leaps and bounds.
