In 2004, Apple opened in San Francisco one of the iconic stores that the company has distributed, not only in the United States but also around the world. The adventure of this store has barely lasted 12 years. As we informed you last month, the company has just inaugurated the remodeling of the Apple Store located in Union Square, where the company has invested just over 20 million dollars. This Union Square store is located just two blocks from the store that has begun to be dismantled and where what is most striking is that the first thing that has disappeared are the company logos.

It was the year 2004 when Apple was beginning to expand the number of stores throughout the country, an expansion that had begun three years earlier with the launch of the iPod. iPod that is taking off by leaps and bounds and attracting more and more people to the company's stores. Initially the experts had predicted that the chain of stores would be a resounding failure, a failure that never came to be as we have been able to verify.

At the opening of this store, came Steve Jobs himself together with the mayor of the city and hundreds of fans of the brand in February 2004, but a large number of personalities from the city also attended, creating a spectacular opening party for this iconic store.

The new store that comes to replace the current one, it is much larger and more environmentally friendly, It has large glass doors and windows, a staircase made entirely of glass, solar panels to manage all the electricity necessary for the store. Inside we find a gigantic television screen where the firm is in charge of projecting everything related to the company.
