Apple is considering podcasting its content on Apple TV +

Apple TV +

If you usually listen to the podcast that we record every week with the Actualidad iPhone team, it is likely that this is not the only podcast you listen to and we know more or less how the market is. In Spain and Latin America we have the iVoox podcast platform, a podcast platform that has a section called iVoox Originals.

Within this section we find podcast that are only available on this platform. Resorting to this type of resource is the only way that many podcasters have found when it comes to seeking revenue from their work and in turn is a fantastic way to get new listeners for iVoox.

While in Cupertino it seems that it does not find a way to offer monetization to content creators, they are abandoning the Apple platform for others that do, as is the case with Spotify, especially in the United States and iVoox in Spain.

In a move that could be the beginning of an original podcast section, Bloomberg reports, Apple is considering creating original podcasts focused on the present and future content of its streaming video platform, a podcast that would be used to promote your content.

Bloomberg claims that Apple held several meetings with some podcast producers to send their proposals related to Apple TV content. Apple wants use the same strategy that Hulu, Disney + and Netflix currently follow, streaming video services that have their own podcast shows where they offer a behind-the-scenes look at new releases.

At the moment there is nothing confirmed, but this could be the first step for Apple to bother with offer a monetization system to your platform, as long as you are interested that Spotify, a newcomer to the world of podcasts, does not end up surpassing it as the most used platform in the world of podcasts.
