Apple is working on implementing its own Street View like Google

Apple is putting a vehicle fleet on the roads in the UK and Ireland, to photograph the streets y collecting data, to improve their map service. The vehicles have already been spotted in the US, and all of them, to rival Google Maps Street View. As always Apple has not confirmed anything.

Apple is not yet releasing its own Street View, but one of the most important improvements that will be made in Maps of iOS 9, is the introduction of the transit directions, which will help users navigate, in some of the largest cities in the world that have public transport.

Apple is driving vehicles around the world to collect data that will be used to improve Apple Maps. Some of this data will be published in future Apple Maps updates, as noted in 'The Guardian'.

Apple is committed to protect your privacy, while collecting this data. For example, it will blur faces y license plates, in the images collected before their publication in 'Apple Maps'.

These are the same precautions that Google puts, in its 'Street View', and this confirms that Apple is working on a similar service. The company does not currently use street level photography to implement it in its application

You can find out where the Apple cars are in this link, where in England they will be June 15 to June 30. The company has improved the service, since then, with features that include reviews, photos, and ratings of services such as TripAdvisor, as we mentioned in this link; and a functionality, for small businesses to add and edit their information.
