Apple just released a firmware update for the AirPods Pro

AirPods Pro

A week ago my espresso machine lost the pot. The type of coffee you select does not do well. I called the Philips SAT, and after explaining what was happening, they told me that it was a fault of the firmware. When the lockdown is lifted, it will be taken away for reinstatement.

In fact, today any electronic device, however simple it may seem, has its firmware. Any device that we can guess that has a motherboard, obviously has its operating program. Well yes, oddly enough, the AirPods Pro also have firmware, and today it's time update them.

Apple today released a firmware update for its AirPods Pro wireless earbuds. The company has updated its earbuds firmware only for the AirPods Pro range of version 2C54 or 2B588 to 2D15

We do not know why this firmware update is due. Manzana does not publish Notes for firmware updates as they do for software updates, so the reason for the latest update is a mystery to everyone except the company. They will know.

Perhaps one of the reasons for this update is related to some complaints that have been made by some users of the AirPods Pro. They have been experiencing problems getting the active noise cancellation works properly, while others have reported a "rattling" sound when using headphones in an environment with background noise.

You cannot "force" in any way to do the update manually. The update normally occurs when the AirPods Pro is in its case, charging and within easy reach of your iPhone. For most of us, our headphones will probably update when reload.

What you can do is see what version have your AirPods currently. On your iPhone, go to Settings> General> About> AirPods> Firmware version. Although we do not know exactly what this update does, it is highly recommended to do it. It will surely solve a little problem, even if you haven't detected it.
