Apple continues to work on respect for the environment

One thing that followers of Apple products already have to know is that buying one of their products is not only going to report a product with excellent characteristics and with which we will enjoy for a long time, but at the same time we will be contributing to respect for the environment. En Soy de Mac It is not the first time I have talked about this, and is that each day that passes Apple takes new steps in this regard.

It is not the same to buy an Apple product than an equivalent from another brand and it is that those from Cupertino are spinning very fine in terms of the construction materials of the device, the ways of manufacturing and even the improvement of the packaging, which in most cases is what undergoes recycling first.

For quite some time, Apple told us that they had created a legion of robots called LIAM that are responsible for cutting apart, for now, the iPhone in order to recover much of the materials with which they have been manufactured. As you know, on Apple's own website there is a section dedicated to recycling its products and explaining what to do to be able to send or deliver them for recycling if you want to dispose of them.

However, in this article we do not want to talk about that but about the commitment that Apple continues to make the packaging of its products increasingly biodegradable. If you have noticed, both in the packaging of the iPhone or iPad and in the MacBook or MacBook Pro, the presence of paper is increasing. Gone are the plastic protectors that the charger was wrapped in so that it was shiny and shiny when we first took it out of the box. Who has not noticed the very thin sheet of paper that comes on the screen of Apple laptops? Before, this protection was made of a similar material but much thicker and with a composition with a much higher amount of cellulose.

If we analyze the packaging of the iPhone we see that over the years the plastic present in them has decreased considerably and that is now even the packaging of the EarPods that are included in it. it is cardboard and not plastic. In the last iPhone, the chargers have also begun to be lined with paper and not with plastic, an action that then gradually spreads to the rest of the products.

Apple spins so fine that they even have controlled tree plantations that are destined for this purpose in order to measure the environmental impact they are producing. Remember that Apple is very clear that a company of its caliber it must prioritize environmental policies because otherwise it is doomed to fail.
