Apple releases fourth beta of tvOS 10.0.1

One more week the guys from Cupertino are distributing the betas throughout the week instead of releasing them all on the same day as we were used to. If a couple of days ago it was the turn of iOS 10.1 yesterday it was Apple TV, the fourth beta of tvOS 10.0.1, which will be the first update tvOS 10. This fourth beta of tvOS 10.0.1 does not bring us any important news except the typical stability and performance improvements that Apple is always working on to optimize the performance of each of its operating systems.

This fourth beta arrives ten days after the launch of the third beta and, like the previous one, is only available to developers, like the watchOS betas. Keep in mind that the process to install a tvOS beta is not easy, since you have to use a USB-C cable to connect it to the computer, download the beta and then install it together with the tvOS profile. To install the watchOS 3 betas, the process is not that complicated but it is a process of no return, that is, you cannot downgrade to the previous version if the device suffers some kind of problem.

At the moment we do not know what plans Apple has in mind to add to Apple TV, so for now the most curious developers continue to analyze the code in search of some information that may demonstrate the possibility of a new function. We do not know when the guys from Cupertino have planned to launch the final version of tvOS 10.0.1, but the final version of iOS 10.1 could reach users on October 25, as we informed you yesterday, so Apple could take advantage and release updates for all operating systems you are currently working on.
