The update also fixes an issue where some USB mice and trackpads could lose connection. An issue that was affecting USB 2.0 devices that were used with the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models.

watchOS 6.2.8 with Car Key support
Watch 6.2.8 introduces Car Key, a feature also available on the iPhone with iOS 13.6. Car Key is designed to allow an iPhone or Apple Watch to be used in place of a physical key to unlock an NFC compatible vehicle.
Car key it needs to be implemented by automakers to work, and BMW has been one of the first brands to do so. However, update to see if it is solved. But it seems like an individual hardware problem. If it happens to you with different keyboards, it could be an input device driver failure.
