Apple launches second beta of macOS High Sierra for developers

Yesterday afternoon was the one chosen by the Cupertino company to launch the second beta version of macOS High Sierra. In this case we cannot say that the improvements implemented in this new version of the operating system are really spectacular, but we have already known this for a long time due to the few rumors about new features or possible new functions for the OS.

In this case, what we have on the table is the second version for developers of macOS High Sierra 10.13, with build number 17A291j. In this new beta version we find some improvements and bug fixes compared to the first version released in early June, but there is little to correct since it works quite well in the new system.

The developers announce in this second beta solution to the problems of APFA, migration from H.264 to H.265 and for Metal 2. They also find some improvements to enabling Filevault under the new APFS file system, improvements to the Messages application and OpenCL, among other improvements over the first version of the new system.

It is best to stay out of these beta versions if you are not a developer, since we could have some incompatibility problem with the applications or work tools that we use on the computer. The beta versions released are usually stable and in this case for the time it has been available and others we can say that this second beta is so since it does not show errors that affect the general functionality of the Mac, but do not forget that they are beta versions and it is better to be cautious with them.
