Apple launches a new beta of the Remote application to control Apple TV from the iPhone

One of the few news that the Cupertino-based company presented during the last keynote and that were related to Apple TV, it had more to do with iOS than Apple TV. It was the Remote application, which allows us to control Apple TV from our iPhone as if it were the Siri Remote. Well, the company yesterday launched a new beta of this application that is already in the hands of developers, so if you are registered in the Apple developer community you can download it directly from the Apple Developer Program.

Thanks to the Remote app, we will be able to control all aspects of the Apple TV as if we were doing it from our Siri RemoteSo if it has been lost to us by the sofa cushions, the child has taken it thinking it is a toy or the cat uses it to sit on it, it is not necessary to move heaven and earth. We can use our iPhone with the Remote application to play the next chapter of our favorite Netflix series or play a few games to the more and more games that are being compatible with this platform.

Another of the functions that will improve the interaction with the Apple TV is when entering text, since through the application we can write any text directly from the keyboard of our iPhone, without needing to take forever every time we want to write on the Apple TV. In addition, through Remote, we can directly add all our accounts to the different services that we have contracted such as Netflix, HBO, Hulu ... a very fast and simple way to quickly enjoy when we have just bought our Apple TV.

This application, as an almost fundamental complement to Apple TV, will officially arrive on iTunes for the month of September and it can be downloaded completely free of charge.
