After releasing beta 4 of macOS Mojave yesterday afternoon, today releases tvOS 12.1.1 beta 4 for developers. This time it seems that the improvements implemented are focused again on solving problems and errors detected in the previous beta version.
Strange as it may seem at the moment Apple does not release the beta 4 of watchOS, a version that usually comes hand in hand with tvOS and that this time they have not released. Surely the beta version of watchOS will arrive together with the new beta version of iOS, which for now and while we are writing this article have not been released either.
There are no notable changes in this new beta of tvOS 12.1.1
As we have already seen in previous beta versions of tvOS, we did not find too many changes or important changes for the operating system of this Apple set top box. It is expected that the main novelties for Apple TV are already reserved to be released for the summer of next year, when WWDC is celebrated, but no major changes are expected regarding the software of this device.
In any case, it seems strange to us that Apple does not release these versions with watchOS at the same time, but their reasons will have to launch only the version of macOS and tvOS. We will remain vigilant in case the new beta version appears in the next few hours, for now the developers already have access to the versions Mac and Apple TV beta.
