Apple Maps adds blueprints for 18 new shopping malls in Canada

A little over a month ago, the Cupertino guys stated that they were working in their maps department, not only to improve the information they offer us today, but also to offer a greater number of details of all the elements that you show us. These news will begin to arrive with iOS 12 and for now, we can only observe them in the San Francisco bay.

In recent years, Apple has been adding additional information to the map service, information that continues to arrive by the drop of a hat and that still still not available in many European cities. The latest update that the application has received is found in the information that it shows us about the shopping centers.

The malls have become places of pilgrimage common, especially on weekends, for many thousands of users. Depending on the size of it, we should have the option of renting an electric vehicle, such as golf ones, at hand to be able to see all the available stores and where they are located.

As this is not possible, we can make use of the Apple Maps application. This service just added the plans for 18 shopping centers in Canada. These plans allow us to know at all times which are the available stores and where they are, so that we can go directly without having to go store by store.

In addition, it also shows us a small legend with which we can quickly know what type of items are sold in each one, ideal for when we are looking only for clothes, shoes, accessories ... or we have simply gone to have a bite. The plans of the 18 shopping centers available through Apple Maps in Canada are:

  • Galeries D'Anjou in Montréal
  • Carrefour Laval in Laval
  • Promenades St-Bruno in Saint-Bruno
  • Fairview Pointe Claire at Pointe-Claire
  • Rideau Center in Ottawa
  • Markville at Markham
  • Shops at Don Mills in Toronto
  • Fairview Mall in Toronto
  • Sherway Gardens in Toronto
  • Square One in Mississauga
  • Lime Ridge in Hamilton
  • Fairview Park in Kitchener
  • Masonville Place in London
  • Polo Park in Winnipeg
  • Chinook Center in Calgary
  • Market Mall in Calgary
  • Richmond Center in Richmond
  • Champlain Place in Dieppe, New Brunswick

But Apple Maps not only offers us the plans of large venues such as shopping centers, but also, little by little, it also increases the number of airports where it shows us, based on a map, the information related to the boarding gates along with shops and services available.
