In the last keynote, Apple returned to focus again on continuing to promote Apple Music. A few weeks ago we informed you of the agreement we had reached with the producer of the Carpool Karaoke program. The host of this show James Corden appeared at the beginning of the keynote interviewing Tim Cook, simulating a new Carpool Karaoke program, and in which we could see how Tim Cook began to sing several songs. Then Pharrel Williams got into the vehicle, where all the interviews for the program are conducted, and they arrived at the stage where the keynote was held, the Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco.

As soon as he went on stage with the keynote, Tim Cook confirmed the signing of James Corden for Apple Music in addition to announcing the new number of Apple Music subscribers: 17 million. Apple Music numbers are growing steadily and without pause. In the last keynote, the Cupertino-based company announced that its streaming music service had a base of 15 million subscribers and almost two months later this number has risen by two million, almost one more per month. With this growth rate, it is likely that it will soon be able to stand up to Spotify.

For its part, Spotify does not publish the number of paid subscribers since last January, the date on which he announced that his service has just exceeded 30 million subscribers. Nine months later, the Swedish company should have seen that number increase by a few million, if they follow the same growth that Apple Music has experienced since its launch. It should be remembered that since the launch of Apple Music, the Swedish firm and Apple have seen how both services have increased the number of subscribers in a similar way, although Apple's service has been a little further ahead.
