Apple releases official version of macOS Sierra 10.12.5 adding improvements in the stability and security of the system in addition to solving some bugs of the current version. Last week we ran out of beta versions of any of the operating systems and today we have the final versions of all of them available including iOS 10.3.2, watchOS 3.2.2 and tvOS 10.2.1. In this case, in addition to the bug fixes, the new version adds several changes that can be read in the update notes and that we will now tell you about.
In addition to the typical bug fixes, a solution is added to a problem that directly affected USB-connected headphones:
- Fixes a clipping issue in audio when playing through USB headsets
- Improves the compatibility of the Mac App Store with future software updates (already thinking about the WWDC of this 2017)
- Adds support for media-proof mounting of Windows 10 Update Creators via Boot Camp
A series of improvements that we will find in this latest official version released a few minutes ago. As always remember that it is best to update our Macs as soon as possible to be protected against possible threats (something that we have fresh in memory) and enjoy the news and corrections added in the latest version. To update if it does not appear automatically on our computer we have to directly access the Mac App Store and click on the Updates tab, the new version that we have to install appears in it.
Now we can only wait for a new beta version to arrive at WWDC 2017 in which we will see the news for the next version of macOS, although it does not seem that we are going to have many changes in principle ...
