Apple officially launches watchOS 4.1 for all users

This afternoon and after Apple released during yesterday afternoon a new beta version 4.2 Overlapping the current version 4.1, the guys from Cupertino have officially released watchOS 4.1 for users. In this case, the improvements that are implemented in this version were known to us from the previous beta, but we highlight the leak of the GM beta that we saw a week ago and that indicated the improvements that would come in this version that they have just officially launched.

In the end we have not seen this GM since Apple directly launches the official version of 4.1 for everyone. This new version Obviously requires official iOS 11.1, which was also released a few minutes ago.

The news of this new official version 4.1 are:

  • The option to play music through Apple Music or our iCloud library and listen to the radio live
  • Use Siri as a search engine to find, discover, and play songs, playlists, or albums
  • Clock registration and synchronization through GymKit, with gym machines (these have to be compatible)
  • They solve the error of connection to WiFi networks reported in Apple Watch Series 3 models (GPS + cellular)
  • Fixes an issue with Apple Watch Series 1 and heart rate notifications
  • Fixes some crashes when receiving reminders, failed alarms and charging problems on Series 1
  • Resolves an issue where the sunrise and sunset complication would sometimes not appear
  • Add Mandarin as the default dictation language for China

Remember that this is a final version and that therefore we do recommend its installation to all users who have an Apple Watch. For this it is important to remember that the installation method of new versions requires that the device has to be with a minimum of 50% battery and connected to the charger.
