Apple often conducts fund-raising efforts from users through iTunes so that the Red Cross distributes the funds raised as well as possible on the ground. This time we are facing a refugee crisis that touches us closely in Europe and is related to the war in Syria.
Thousands of people jump to the Mediterranean with just enough to escape the war that affects Syria and this is becoming a real humanitarian problem. In this case and as in previous crisis situations where a natural disaster has caused problems, Apple activates this system of donations ranging from 5 to 200 dollars maximum and anyone can participate in donations.
Apple already activated this type of donation in other natural disasters such as the Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, the earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan or the devastating earthquake in Nepal, among others and we hope they will continue to do so forever.. In reality it is an initiative that giants like Google have also started and from here we want to support so that they do not stop.
[UPDATED]
We already have the link available to make donations directly from Apple and it's this same. A lot of strength to all these people who are having a really bad time.
Donation made. I really like when Apple supports this type of aid, and I usually participate in all of them, even with the minimum (it depends on the month I get caught), since it is very convenient for me to make the payment, and also to do it through its platform gives a lot of confidence. I hope the rest of the people join in as well, and that the effort to channel this help from Apple has been worth it.
