Biweekly, Apple updates the list of banks and credit institutions compatible with Apple Pay, banks and credit institutions that work at a rural level, since the main banks in the country have been compatible with Apple Pay practically since its launch, in October 2014.
Currently Apple Pay is available at United States, Canada, France, Russia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan, the last country to join the list of countries compatible with this payment technology. In the last Keynote, Apple presented the new MacBook Pro models, some models that present as the main novelty the Touch Bar and a fingerprint sensor, a sensor with which we will be able to confirm the payments we make through Safari with Apple Pay , instead of confirming them as before with the iPhone.
