The Cupertino company is expanding its Apple Pay service around the world and in this case it reaches Austria. The truth is that in our country we are quite privileged when we realize that in some it is still not possible to use this so safe, simple and efficient payment method.
Apple is implementing the service with all the guarantees of use for the majority of users, but obviously not all banks have this payment option available when the service arrives. Little by little they spread as time passes and in this case the Erste Bank is the first to enjoy the service in Austria.
Once you start using Apple Pay, you cannot use other payment methods
Actually the service that Apple Pay offers is really good for users who can do without carrying credit or debit cards with you to make purchases in stores or any store that has a contactless compatible dataphone. Personally, I can say that most of the payments that I make today at gas stations, shops and others are all with the Apple Watch and the iPhone through Apple Pay.
Security is another of the interesting aspects with this service and that is that Apple Pay is a really safe method to carry out payment operations in shops since with the fingerprint or with the Face ID it is practically impossible for someone to make a payment with your device . Safety is paramount in this regard and that is why Apple does not store data from our cards on servers, it does so directly on devices.
