While we here in Spain hope to be able to try this payment service in many establishments with the convenience of to be able to do it directly from our iPhone or Apple Watch. Users in the Anglo-Saxon country already have it officially available as of today, where they can make all their purchases through this platform thanks to NFC (Near Field Communications) technology, simply by passing their device near the sales terminal, something really convenient for small payments in restaurants or stores that will save us having to take out our card, enter PIN ...

This service has already been available to North American users since October and now in the United Kingdom, it allows pay in more than 250.000 stores around the whole country. Santander BanksNetWest and Royal Bank of Scotland are the first to offer support for this form of payment while Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland account holders will have to wait until autumn.
