Today is a great day for those of us who have used a Mac for years and this afternoon has finally arrived, the new macOS Sierra, the new system that Apple has created to use on our computers. Apart from all the news that we will be commenting on the system itself, one of the things that have been announced with great fanfare is the arrival of the Apple Pay to Mac.

Yes, the mobile payment system reaches MacOS Sierra but not in the way we might have imagined. It is not entirely comfortable to have to bring the Mac to a dataphone to proceed with the payment through Apple Pay. Thus, Apple has created Apple Pay on the web.

This is a new way to use Apple Pay on the web. In this way, when we enter a certain page where we need to make a payment, we will have the option of Apple Pay on the web available so that when we click on it we will be asked to let us authenticate with the Touch ID of the iPhone or with the Apple Watch.

It is a very simple way that the purchases we make on the web can be paid with Apple Pay. Those present are informed that there are already agreements with hundreds of websites to accept having the Apple Pay on the web button. Undoubtedly a novelty that will be welcomed especially in the territories where Apple Pay is available.
