Yesterday afternoon the different beta versions for developers were launched and among them could not miss macOS 10.14.5 beta 1. In this case the build is 18F96h and it seems that the main novelties are the compatibility with some Radeon cards and the already typical bug fixes and improvements in the general performance of the version.
There are no specified changes in the beta release notes and that is why it is important that the developers themselves thoroughly investigate these releases in order to discover the news that they add if any is added.
Apple continues with the good pace of updates and it seems that it is paving the way for this year's WWDC that will come with several novelties in the different OS, although they already warned that this year would be a "transition" and to correct the bugs detected in the versions. This time it seems that the beta 1 of macOS Mojave 10.14.5 no noticeable changes in performance but we will remain vigilant in case they appear.
In the next few hours the beta version will be launched for users who are registered in the beta program and will be able to download the version to test them on their Macs. The truth is that when there are no notable new features, these betas are not so interesting among users but are just as important for OS development. As always, we recommend that this type of betas remain installed on external disks or partitions outside the equipment that we use to work, since sometimes they may have failures or incompatibilities with the tools we use to work.
