Apple launches new firmware for the HomePod that will go on sale in December

It seems that Apple is preparing the new HomePod for its release in December and it has launched a new firmware for you to manage its operation today. It is a firmware that is available only for beta testers who have had the great luck to be testing this wonder speaker.

By this we mean that this firmware is not available for any developer to download, so it is not in the developer portal.

Beta testers will be able to download this new firmware from the third-party iOS software site. Those test speakers are in the hands of the employees that Apple has deemed appropriate in order to reduce the number of possible errors that the operating firmware had. It is a new product that millions of people are waiting for and Apple has to ensure optimal performance.

The previous firmware was released in july and in it was where you could see for the first time data related to the new iPhone X and the long-awaited Face ID. In addition, we were able to know data related to the process of turning on the HomePod as well as the resolution of the upper screen or the RAM memory that it will have.

The HomePod is Apple's Siri-based smart speaker that primarily focuses on high-quality sound. Incorporates a 7-tweeter array and upward-facing 4-inch woofer designed by Apple in addition to an A8 chip to enhance functions such as spatial awareness.
