Final version of watchOS 7.1 for all users

Watch 7

Just two days after the release of watchOS 7.1 in its near-final version, Apple has released the final version of this version of watch software for all users. A version that incorporates the ECG (electrocardiogram) function for countries that have not yet received it and other new features. But above all it introduces solutions to problems that were already a headache for some users.

The problem we are referring to is essentially two. The first refers to the inability to unlock the Mac through the Apple Watch. A great time-saving and useful feature. The second of the problems that they say has been fixed is the one that refers to the screen could be dark when lifting the wrist for some users of Apple Watch Series 6.

Therefore the Republic of Korea and Russia will now have ECG function available and automatic notifications in case of irregular heartbeat. For all of us who have an Apple Watch, the aforementioned problems are solved.

To verify if the update is available on our device, we must look at the Apple Watch application on our iPhone, For this we go to General> Software update. We wait a bit and we should see shortly the possibility of being able to install it on the Apple Watch.
